A nice walk on a not-so rare cool, not freezing, day this winter. In the middle of Baltimore City, 10 minutes walk from my house.

Car culture is having an option for number of parking spots in Zillow, but no option to filter for public transit accessibility.

Warms my soul to end a hard week with BBQ

It’s been a week. Hoping this weekend gives me a chance to recharge, so I can rise up and meet the challenges of next week a little more refreshed.

I have a, perhaps unhealthy, attachment to our books.

When I saw a recipe for “schmaltz-y” chicken, I definitely took it as a sign that this Jewish boy needed to get cooking. Didn’t stop me from playing around, including spatchcocking the chicken to save time on this rainy Monday.

No other iPhone could have taken this picture, but honestly, it’s still not as good as I hoped. The contrast is good, but not great— still some bleeding around the Moon. And of course no detail on the Moon itself.

Just one month short of six years ago I came to Austin, TX for the first time, unsure about where I wanted my career to go. I like getting back here and having some time to reflect on my journey at Allovue, and what else is still to come.

For all the sights there are to see in Austin, who knew I’d feel the need to capture this feature in my hotel elevator.

Remembering that time in New Orleans when heading to the bathroom revealed the courtyard open to the night sky behind the jazz club.
