After three nights in the ER, Gracie came home the other day. Her condition is not improving, so we’re moving to a different phase of care here. It seems pretty certain I’ll have very little time left with her. Our hearts are breaking.

Gracie about 1 month after we got her, when she first moved into our condo with us. She’s a golden colored dog with a fluffy tail lying with her eyes closed, curled up on a brown leather couch.

Gracie a few weeks ago, lying down curled up against the steel leg on my desk and a brown wooden floor. She is considerably lighter and whiter looking than she was when we first got her, more pale yellow than golden.
