I had a really nice “It’s working!” moment today. I heard a song, and as I often do, picked up my guitar and started noodling over it. I’ve always had a decent ear, and I immediately found something to work with.

Only this time I knew, without thought, “This is an Ebm scale, so I’m in Gb.”
